Terms of Use
These terms cover use of the Seascape Digital website and payment portal. By starting a checkout or using our APIs as a merchant, you agree to them.
What we provide
Seascape Digital provides a hosted checkout experience and webhook notifications for payments processed via ANZ Transact / eGate. We are not the seller of the underlying goods or services — that is the merchant that sent you to checkout.
Customers
- You must be authorised to use the payment card you submit.
- Refunds and fulfilment disputes are handled by the merchant you paid, subject to their terms and ANZ / scheme rules.
- Your bank statement will show the billing text configured on the merchant’s ANZ facility.
Merchants
- You must only initiate signed payment requests for legitimate transactions.
- You are responsible for your product, pricing, customer support, and compliance.
- Webhook endpoints must verify Seascape HMAC signatures before fulfilling orders.
- ANZ merchant credentials must be accurate and approved by the bank.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, bank outages, or network issues may affect checkout.
Liability
To the extent permitted by New Zealand law, Seascape Digital is not liable for merchant fulfilment failures, incorrect merchant configuration, or losses arising from declined or delayed bank authorisations. Nothing in these terms limits rights you cannot exclude under the Consumer Guarantees Act where it applies.
